Kelly Seiltz, CPA, MBA, CPP
President



Kelly Seiltz, CPA, MBA, CPP is the Payroll Manager for North America at Amcor Flexibles North America, Inc. based out of Neenah, Wisconsin.  Kelly began her career in January of 2000 and spent over 8 years working in public accounting where she attained her CPA and MBA designations.  Her duties included working directly with individual and corporate clients on tax planning and managing the tax compliance process for large multi-state companies (C Corporations, S Corporations, and Partnerships).  She specialized in benefit plans, sales and use tax, high income individual tax returns, federal income tax and multi-state income tax compliance. 

She started her career at Amcor in 2008 as the Senior Tax Analyst and then was promoted to Tax Supervisor in the Corporate Income Tax Department.  She was instrumental in transitioning the state income tax function from Minneapolis to Wisconsin and establishing the state income and sales/use tax compliance processes. Kelly also managed the international and state income tax compliance process, was responsible for foreign tax credit planning and training tax staff.

In 2017, Kelly was promoted to Payroll Manager for North America. She manages the preparation and execution of Bemis’ hourly and salaried payrolls for North America, which includes 5 tax entities and approximately 8,500 employees within the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.  Her responsibilities include leading all Payroll and Payroll HRIS team members, ensuring Bemis locations are compliant with company policies and government regulations, managing vendor relationships and working with various departments within Bemis on special projects.

Emily Tietyen, CPP

Emily Tietyen, CPP is the Director of Human Resources for Anduzzi’s Sports Club. Through various roles she has been involved in the HR and Payroll profession for over 15 years. Her experience has granted her opportunities in many industries including retail, manufacturing, bio-technology and hospitality. Emily earned her CPP in 2014 after participating in the Northeast Wisconsin Chapters study group. Since then, she past participated in the Chapter as a past board member, study group facilitator and state wide committee member. Emily also serves on the National American Payroll Associations Strategic Payroll Leadership Task Force for the Hospitality Industry. In addition to her CPP designation, Emily holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential, the SHRM-CP credential and recently finished her MBA from Concordia University. She has a passion for continuing education in the payroll and HR professions and is thrilled to re-join the Board of Directors as the Director of Education and Government Liaison. In her spare time Emily enjoys reading, listening to pod casts, all things Disney, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Melissa DeSwarte is the Compensation & Benefits Analyst in the Human Resources department for Americollect, Inc.  In her current role, she specializes in the daily administration of payroll and benefits in addition to supporting compensation and total rewards strategies.  Melissa also manages Americollect’s HCMS.  They currently use Paylocity, and previously used Kronos Workforce Ready.  In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading, singing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Cassie Tennant, CPP is the Senior Payroll Specialist at Prevea Health. Her previous role prior to joining Prevea was at Savage Services as the Payroll Tax & Compliance Specialist.  She started working on and off in Payroll in 2005 and made payroll her career focus in 2014. She enjoys everything to do with payroll and staying current on all the different state rules and taxes.

Tonia Starzer, CPP is the payroll supervisor with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP and has been with the firm since 2009. She provides payroll, payroll tax, and accounting services to clients. Tonia also provides QuickBooks and Peachtree consulting services. In addition, Tonia is involved in the preparation of tax returns for individuals and small businesses.

 

She has been working in payroll for over 16 years and received her CPP certification in 2010 and joined the NEW APA that same year. In her spare time she loves running, reading, and spending time with my husband and 3 sons.

Lynn Gauger, FPC
Chapter Coordinator



Lynn Gauger, FPC is the Payroll Specialist and HR Coordinator for Network Health based out of Menasha, WI. She also supports another location in Brookfield, WI. She has been employed there for 4 1/2 years. Lynn runs two hourly and salaried payrolls for about 475 employees bi-weekly. Other responsibilities are managing Ergonomics for all employees, process and manages workers compensation claims along with filing OSHA 300A logs and filing annual Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports. Supports HR Department by running Education, License, Employment and Background checks for all new hires. 

She also works at the Salvation Army during the holiday seasonal as a Red Kettle Coordinator.  Coordinating bell ringers, match day with companies in the community and monitoring and depositing donations. In addition is also the Chairperson of Missions and Outreach Committee at Faith United Methodist Church in Brillion.   Coordinates and puts on a free meal once a month for anyone in the community.  Mission work and finding out what the need is in the community. During the holidays coordinates Coats for Kids and Adopt a Family through the Salvation Army.

Prior to Network Health, Lynn Gauger worked at Lutheran Social Services for 12.5 years as a Payroll, Benefits, Leave, Accounting and Work Comp Analyst.  

Lynn is hard working, flexible and pays attention to detail. Her 5 strengths in order are responsibility, adaptability, positivity, empathy and includer. Loves a challenge and likes new opportunities.

IT Business Analyst - Workday HCM

Jacob Ross is an IT Business Analyst for Amcor Flexibles North America, Inc. supporting Workday HCM. He has held several positions within HR and Payroll before moving to an HRIS role supporting Workday with Amcor. Jake has experience processing payroll, supporting payroll policies/practices, and year-end tax processing for several plant and corporate locations in the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and traveling

Ben Mullins, MBA, MS, CPP, PHR is the Assistant Vice President at Associated Bank. 

Current role:  Senior Business Line System Administrator – Core HR, Payroll, & Benefits

Ben has been working in HR roles for over 10 years.  He hosts an Oracle Cloud HCM user group with over 100 members and is a participant on Oracle’s payroll customer advisory board.  His home life is primarily spent with his beautiful wife and 3 daughters.
